Covid-19 Protocols & Procedures

We are so excited to be re-opening our doors to begin dancing for our 2021/2022 dance season! We have implemented some new safety precautions to keep us all healthy and dancing together. We are taking extensive measures to allow for a safe and comfortable environment and ask that our dance family do their part as well. Please review these procedures with your dancer before entering our facility. We cannot account for every detail, but we can certainly do our best and try to take every safety measure possible. If your dancer is feeling ill, please keep them home as your and all of our dancers safety is our first priority. We can’t wait to see you all!
For the 2021/2022 dance year, we are going to try to return to as much normalcy as possible while also keeping our staff and students healthy and happy. Our class times have returned to normal hour long lengths and we have removed our social distance squares in the dance rooms. We will also no longer be taking temperatures at the door upon arrival. Our dressing room and lobby are open again and class size limits are back open as well. The studio will be continuing our nightly disinfection and sporadic cleaning throughout the day to keep everything safely sanitized. We’re hopeful that these will be the policies throughout the whole year but warn that if this pandemic takes another turn, we will adjust our policies to match.
Lets talk masks… the staff will continue to remain masked at this time, with small mask breaks when needed. We understand that at this point it is your choice to wear or not wear a mask, however we strongly urge that you and/or your dancer do wear a mask. We are a business of mostly young children and whether your child(ren) are too young to receive the vaccine or it is your family’s choice to not get the vaccine, the next best defense in line in protecting your child(ren) against COVID or any virus would be to mask up. However, as previously stated, it is your choice to wear or not wear one……. For now at least. Again, if this everchanging pandemic takes another ugly turn this policy may shift as well.
Last but not least, god forbid we have to close our doors again due to another mandated shutdown, at least we know exactly what to do this time. Classes will resume on Zoom, attendance is not mandatory but classes are non-refundable.
We are hopeful that if we all continue to stay clean and smart, do our part and remain educated on the matter we will have a great year TOGETHER!
